He was a native of Odessa, Texas and was a color stripper for a printing company. He loved the outdoors which included camping, fishing, and surfing. His nickname from surfing was Zeke. He loved his family and was a wonderful husband and a great big brother.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Weldon Gayle Gray, Sr. and Marjorie Nell Hughes Gray; brother-in-law, C. Roy Steingrube II; and two sisters-in-law, Patricia Montana and Marlene Wiggington.
He is survived by his wife, Jackie K. Gray; two sisters, Brenda Scoggins of Midland, Texas, and Lesa Steingrube of Elizabethtown; and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Brown Funeral Home with Steven Scoggins offciating.
Visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
