He was a native of Louisville and was the Owner and Operator of his construction company.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Garfield Reister; and his longtime companion, Vickie Kaelin.
He is survived by his mother, Cora Curtis of Elizabethtown; two adopted daughters, Stephanie Kaelin and Shannan Basham both of Elizabethtown; four brothers, Bryan Curtis, Kelly Glenn Curtis, Thomas Dale Reister, and James Dean Reister; and his special friend, Lovely Laura.
The funeral is Wednesday, February 23rd at 11 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown.
Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. and continue after 9 Wednesday at the funeral home.
