

She was born in Edmonson County, Kentucky on August 6, 1924 to the late Opal and Lillie Davis.
Zola was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to all.
She was a strong, generous, and giving Christian lady, who was always determined. She enjoyed gardening, tending to her flowers, and just being outdoors.
Zola was a press operator at E'town Laundry for many years and was a lifetime member of Elizabethtown Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Tilford S. Pence; one brother, Gilbert Davis; and a grandson, Jason Todd Rose.
Survivors include three daughters, Joyce A. Paris (Joe), Sharlene P. Marcum (Dan), and Caroline F. Pence; one grandson, Brian C. Rose; three great- grandchildren, Olivia Rose, Savannah Rose, and Davis Rose; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral is at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at Brown Funeral Home with Brother Ray Pack officiating.
Burial follows in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM on Tuesday and continue until the time of service at the funeral home.
