Kenneth Louis Cress Jr., age 44 of Elk Rapids, passed away suddenly on September 1, 2016. He is the loving son of Kenneth Sr. and Lois Cress. Cherished brother of Carolyn Fuller (Michael) Hiner. Uncle to Katherine (Nick) Pillsbury, Elizabeth Hiner, Jennifer (Sam) Neal and Stephan Hiner. Great uncle to Oliver Pillsbury. Nephew of Larry Beauchamp and Julie Beauchamp. Cousin of Lyle Beauchamp, Lawrence Beauchamp, Michelle Paulsen, Melissa Shea, Erik Beauchamp and Dan Beauchamp. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Uncle Bob and cousin, Bridget. Ken enjoyed camping with his close friends, the Kengels and playing board games. He also enjoyed spending time with his work family at Pearl’s. Ken was loved by many and will be greatly missed. Inurnment will take place at a later date at Grant Twp. Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions made to the family are greatly appreciated.
