It has been an Honor & a Privilege to have know Bev for over 31 yrs. I first met Bev in the early 80's when she came into The Hair Cuttery where I worked. She got a curly perm (which was fashionable at that time)...lol. That was no small task because she has so much hair! But a Friendship developed and 4 more Friendships also developed.... Betty, Sue, John,,,, and of course Lynda!!.... I Loved Bev, she was an incredibly strong, and very Witty for which caused us to Laugh and act like we were having a party (right there in The Hair Cuttery). If she was determined to do something, guess what... she would do it!!!! Once again, it was sheer Honor to have been able to call her my FRIEND!!!!.

I was privileged to meet Bev several times at our Dena View gatherings and at  Lynda's graduation party.  Her whole family must have been so proud of her for all of her accomplishments; wonderful wife, mother, sister, daughter, and most of all a woman of great strength and courage.  I know she will be greatly missed.  My sympathies to all of her family, and especially to Matt, her son whom she loved so much; Sue, no one could have a more loving and devoted sister; John and Lynda.  I hope you will all cherish your beautiful memories forever.

Ms. Barone, as she was called in my Anatomy and Physiology class at OMHS, was a great student, but most of all she was a great role model for the students at OMHS. She was an enthusiastic learner and completed her work with great detail.  She joined lab groups without hesitation, and the students accepted her willingly.  When she missed class due to illness, it was something she did not like to do and she did not skip a beat with her studies. She was a great role model for me as well, and I will always remember her.  My thoughts and prayers to Matt and Sue.

Bev, Sue and I go back a long time. As young girls, their mom was our Girl Scout Leader and my dad was their fathers Barber. Small world as they say.  Not only did Bev and I graduate together, but I was fortunate enough to work many years with Sue and build a friendship that lasted for many years after she left the USF&G company. Bev will always be remembered for her strength, wit and her compassion for others. These are traits that I know came from her mother. My sympathy to her brother and her sister Sue who I know just idolized her and loved her like no other.

I met Bev three years ago, at Maryland Oncology Hematology.  Beverly loved her family dearly.  Matt was the light of her life.  I will always remember Bev's beautiful smile, her attention to detail and her determination to fight her disease.

I only met Bev a few months ago, but seemed to know her through all of Sue's stories over the years. She was funny, smart, caring and most of all - displayed such "grace" while experiencing some of life's most trying challenges! I salute you Bev! To Sue, John, Lynda and Matt - love, laugh and remember the moments!!

My sincere sympathy goes out to Matt and the rest of Bev's family and friends. She was a remarkable woman, and probably one of the most knowledgeable and devoted Boy Scout leaders I've ever known.
