Catherine Jean Herrmann (nee Cole) of Annapolis, Maryland, passed away on December 5, 2023 at the age of 83. Catherine was born in Baltimore, Maryland to her parents, the late Frank and Gertrude Cole. Catherine was the beloved wife of the late George Frederick Herrmann, Sr. and the devoted mother of Frank Michael Herrmann and his wife Sandy, Linda Brown and her husband Alven P. Brown, Jr. "Cajun" and the late George F. Herrmann, Jr.; dear sister of the late Charles, William "Bill", John, and Walter "Walt" Cole; loving grandmother of George, Samantha, Christie, Alysson, Marcus, Jeremy, Michael, Stephanie, and Jessica; cherished great grandmother of Megan, Reeve, Mirra, Evan, Mason, Camden, Skyler, Zoey, Leo, Michael, Macie, and Makenzie.
Family and friends are invited to gather at Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home at Meadowridge Memorial Park, Inc., 7250 Washington Blvd., Elkridge, Maryland 21075 (Exit 6 South off Route 100) on Friday, December 8, 2023 from 3:00 - 5:00pm and 7:00 - 9:00pm where a Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2023 at 11:00am. Interment Meadowridge Memorial Park.
