

LƯƠNG THANH VĨNH NGHIÊM a free spirit, passed away peacefully on January 10, 2025, at the age of 44 surrounded by his family. Born in Saigon, Vietnam, on December 1st, 1980, Cole immigrated to the United States with his family as a child, settling in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. After graduating college, he moved to Silver Spring, Maryland area, where he continued to build his life.
Cole was incredibly smart and had an unwavering work ethic. He graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Management in 2004 and later earned a Master of Science in Technology Management. A highly respected professional, he had over 20 years of experience in software integration and testing contributing significantly to projects like the U.S. Census from 2015 to 2020 during his tenure at Lockheed Martin and SES Corp. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to found Techne Corporation, where he excelled as both owner and CTO.
Cole's greatest achievements were undoubtedly his family. He cherished his wife, Trang Le, and his children, Evan, Addie, and Caden, more than anything in the world. He was a devoted father, a loving husband, and son to his parents, Liem Luong and Nhung Nguyen. Many of his friends and family will recall his stubborn streak, a trait that, while sometimes tested their patience, undoubtedly contributed to his many accomplishments.
Beyond his professional and familial roles, Cole was energetic and charismatic man. He was a skilled pool player, a passionate foodie who loved cooking and exploring new cuisines, and an adventurous traveler who cherished exploring the world. His infectious laughter and unique sense of humor brightened every room he entered.
Cole will be deeply missed by his wife, children, parents, sister Alyssa, mother-in-law Linh Vo and the countless friends and family whose lives he touched. His memory will forever be a reminder to live life to the fullest and embrace every moment.
A visitation for Cole will be held Tuesday, January 14, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home at MMP, Inc., 7250 Washington Blvd, Elkridge, MD 21075, followed by a visitation from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
