We were saddened to learn of Dave's passing.  His many acts of selfless kindness over the years were a blessing to us.  We will continue to think of him fondly.

We were shocked and saddened to hear that Dave had passed away.  He always gave excellent service to our cars over the years, and we trusted him to tell us like it was & to give us a fair price.  He made us laugh and he made us feel that he truly cared, always ready to go the extra mile, pick us up, figure it out & make sure our cars were safe to go on the road. Dave was a GREAT guy, with lots of integrity. He was a REAL person!  We always enjoyed our interactions with him and feel we have lost a very good friend in Dave. We will always think of him fondly & hold tight to our many pleasant memories of Dave. We already miss this special guy & what he brought to our lives. Our deepest sympathy to Gofferd, Mary, his family and all the crew at Buttrey's.

Dave you were the best and funniest mechanic I have ever met, you were always there when my bestie needed to be worked on..Ypu will be truly miss, may you rest in heaven.

Dave always looked out for me. For thirty five years he made sure my cars stayed on the road.  I will miss you dearly my friend.

Dave, you will be missed by all who came in contact with you. You were a wonderful man to your family and friends. May your light always shine through the eyes from all that ever met you. I know you have earned your wings when you were met at the Gates of Heaven. 

We are still in shock and trying to process Dave's passing. It seems surreal. We pray you all feel the love and prayers of the community surrounding you. We are so very sorry for your loss.

Gofferd, Billy, we were saddened to hear of Dave's passing.  He was a very special person and we were fortunate to have known him. Our girls will always remember him as the gentle giant. They still have the stuffed animals he gave them, and they are all grown up! Please know that you have our condolences and that you and your family are in our prayers.

Uncle Dave, I haven't seen you many years but I do have memory of you,  that ruff raschi voice that toughness the man who was always around. Took my brothers and showed things that they would have never seen or learned they looked up to you it was always Uncle Dave Uncle Dave Uncle Dave but now I know they're gonna have a void in their life but they have memories that no one can ever take from them and they will always refer to Uncle Dave. Now that you've got in your wings and gone to be with our Dad and your other brother/Sonny and your mom/grandma and Dad/grandpa, I know you're have a good time caughting up. Give Dad a big hug and kiss for me and tell him that I love him, maybe you'll see Mom/Twila if you do hug her and give my love .. RIP!

Uncle Dave, Thank you for everything you have done for all of your family.  You have always helped us without ever asking for anything in return.  It was always appreciated.  May you rest peacefully.  Love you, Janice Buttrey Warren and family
