Dorothy Huggins Trimble

Dotty was born in Baltimore, Maryland on December 29, 1947 to George and Jean Huggins. She attended Woodlawn Senior High School and graduated in 1965 going on to work for several different companies in the field of accounting. She worked at Martin Seafood Company in Jessup from 1987 through April of this year.

Dotty was a devoted mother and loving grandmother. She was actively involved in her church, Emmanuel Lutheran in Catonsville. She was a very strong individual who enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, friends and fellow church members. Dotty had a strong love for animals and, in addition to having pets of her own, she often took in strays and was happy to take care of them. She always thought of others and put their needs in front of her own.

Mrs. Trimble is survived by her son, Michael and his partner, Meredith; her son, Jeremy and his wife, Kathi and their three children Caroline, Ryan and Lauren. She is also survived by her brother, Daniel Huggins and his wife, Patricia and their two children Bob and Dana.

A celebration of her life will be held Monday, August 16, 2010 at 9:00 am at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Catonsville. Interment will immediately follow at Meadowridge Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Emmanuel Lutheran School Endowment Fund at 929 Ingleside Ave. Catonsville, MD 21228.
