H. Edward Boyce

Edward Boyce, 97, of Solomons, MD, passed away peacefully on November 8th, 2023.

H. Edward Boyce, a cherished member of the Solomons, Maryland community, passed away on November 8th, 2023, at the age of 97. Born on December 8, 1925, in Hertford, North Carolina, he was the son of Grace and James Boyce. Edward dedicated much of his life to serving in the US Army, where he achieved the rank of Master Sergeant before retirement.

Edward's life was marked by deep devotion to his family. He was a beloved husband for 63 years, a revered father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great-grandfather. Known for his kindness and integrity, Edward left a lasting impact on his family and friends.

His legacy is carried on by his wife, Inge I. Boyce, and his daughter, Ramona Schiaretti, along with seven grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Edward was predeceased by his daughter Deborah Sayre, sons Henry Clay Boyce and Christopher Boyce, and son-in-law Michael Schiaretti Jr.

In honor of Edward's life:

• A private Cremation Ceremony will be conducted with Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home at Meadowridge Memorial Park / Patapsco Crematory.

• A private Inurnment Burial of Ashes will take place at Meadowridge Memorial Park.

• A Celebration of Life event is being planned for January 2024.

Edward's memory will be treasured by all who knew him, and his values of love, commitment, and service will continue to inspire his family and community.
