Jane Lewis Bosworth

Jane Lewis Bosworth (98), of Baltimore, MD passed away on Wednesday, July 26th, 2017. She was the beloved wife of the late James C. Bosworth Sr. and mother to Robert (Bobby) L. Bosworth who died at age 2.

Jane worked for the Social Security Administration for more than 40 years. After she retired, she became the Administrator of Prison Fellowship in Columbia, Maryland.

Jane was the loving mother of James C. Bosworth Jr. of Snow Hill, MD; William M. Bosworth of Baltimore, MD; and Stephen L. Bosworth of San Antonio, Texas.

Jane loved her grandchildren; Charlotte Bosworth Sauder of Richardson, Texas; Martha Bosworth Wedeking of Samamish, Washington;, Emily Bosworth Harmer, Debra Bosworth Strong, William Bosworth, Richard Bosworth, Andrew Bosworth, all of Baltimore, Maryland; and Christopher Bosworth of Oak View, California. Jane dearly loved her 18 great-grandchildren.

Jane was preceded in death by her sisters. Edella Benny of Arbutus, Maryland; Flavia Kaufman of Ellicott City, Maryland and her brother, Thomas Lewis of Lakeland, Florida.

Other living family members include her nephew Gary L. Kaufman and niece, Diane Meske, their children and grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to gather at the Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home at Meadowridge Memorial Park, Inc., 7250 Washington Boulevard, Elkridge, MD 21075 (exit 6 off Rt. 100) on Wednesday, August 2nd, 2017 from 3 to 5 pm and 7 to 9 pm. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, August 3rd, 2017 at 9:30 am. Interment will take place at Loudon Park Cemetery, Baltimore, MD.
