Joseph Koelbel Marshall Sr.

Joseph K. Marshall, Sr. was born September 2, 1943, and went to be with the Lord March 5, 2026.

He was married to Nancy Marshall, who passed away in February 2008. He is survived by his Wife, Esther Marshall, and his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He leaves behind his three children: Anna Albright, married to Matthew, Joe Marshall Jr., married to Kacey, and Rachael Mooney. His 14 grandchildren: Alyssa Stroh, married to Matt, Jacob, Emily Nicholson, married to Matt, Chris Thompson, married to Raquelle, Haleigh, Amanda Monteil, married to Christian, Madison, Mackenzie and Kayla. Dustin, Nathan, Garrett, Tara with Raúl and Marissa. Great grandchildren Natalia, Haiden and Rachel Joy.

He was a devoted husband, dad, and Poppy. His smile and laughter were as infectious as his personality, and he had a way of brightening any room he entered. He loved his family with all his heart and raised his children to love unconditionally, work hard, and always put family first. His love for the outdoors was reflected in his garden, his trees, and the care he took in riding his lawn mower and tending to his yard. The outdoors was where he found solace, serenity, and a true sense of peace.

A viewing will be held from 11am to 1pm on Friday, March 13, 2026 at the Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home at The Meadowridge Memorial Park, 7250 Washington Blvd Elkridge MD 21075. The service will be immediately follow at 1PM. Interment Meadowridge Memorial Park.

The family has asked that no flowers be sent, and any contribution would be greatly appreciated, to help defray costs.
