Kenneth R. Gower, age 78, of Ellicott City, Maryland passed away on Saturday, October 30, 2021. Kenneth was born August 22, 1943. Beloved husband of Sharon L. Gower; Loving father of Kenneth Gower (Carol), Karen Hahn (Jerry), Dana Wroten (Adam), Amy Giardina (Patrick), and Matthew Sands (Sophia); Cherished grandfather of Ryan and Jennifer Hahn, Christine Gower, Blake and Isabella Sands, Lennon and Brooks Wroten, and Evelyn Giardina. He was predeceased by his parents, Bernard and Adele Gower.
Kenneth was a member of the VFW, Elks Lodge, and the American Legion; he enjoyed horse racing, casinos and playing poker; He was a fan of the Baltimore Orioles and Ravens; back in his younger years he enjoyed bowling; Kenneth enjoyed eating Maryland crabs paired with his favorite beer, Budweiser; He also loved to visit Calvert Cliffs in Lusby and Las Vegas.
A visitation for Kenneth will be held Tuesday, November 2, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home at Meadowridge Memorial Park, 7250 Washington Blvd, Elkridge, MD 21075, where a Funeral Service will occur Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at 10:00 AM. Burial Glen Haven Memorial Park.
