Margaret Ludwig Stewart of Wake Forest, NC, aged 91, passed away on April 30, 2020. She was born on July 7, 1928 in Baltimore, MD, and then moved to Pasadena, MD. Margaret loved the Lord and taught Sunday School for 17 years at Lake Shore Baptist Church, sang in the church choir and attended many Bible studies. She loved to read and create all kinds of crafts including painting, ceramics, crocheting, and sewing. She was a nature and animal lover, especially dogs which she had all her life. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 71 years, Wayne Stewart; parents, George and Marian Ludwig; and brothers, Buddy and Jimmy Carrick and Johnny Burr. She was the loving mother of Carolyn Prince, Cathy Johnson, Dawn Suski, Wayne L. Stewart and Joy Penn. She was also blessed with 13 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Services will be held in Bright Funeral Home in Wake Forest, NC with interment services in Maryland.
Mrs. Stewart's Graveside Service and Interment will be held at a later date privately at Meadowridge Memorial Park, Elkridge, MD. Arrangements were handled locally by the Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home at Meadowridge Memorial Park, Inc., Elkridge, MD.
A Celebration of Life Service will be arranged at a later date for Mrs. Stewart.
