Mary Rebecca Williams Failing, 80, a long time resident of Jessup, Maryland and former school bus driver the the Howard County Maryland school district, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family.
She was the daughter of the late Conley Millard Williams, Sr. and Mary Virginia McCracken Williams.
She is survived by her caregiver daughter, Sherry Purdham, son, Harry Failing, Jr., and daughter, Vicki McAlexander; grandsons Nicholas Failing, Scott Purdham, Brandon Purdham and Great-Granddaughter Layla Rose Purdham. Dear sister of Phillip, Richard, William "Bill", and Dallas "Pete" Williams, Catherine Gesell, Sheila Laassiri and Judith Buehler. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home at MMP, Inc., 7250 Washington Blvd, Elkridge, MD 21075 (Exit 6 South off Route 100), on April 23, 2026, from 10:00 to 11:30 am, followed by a Graveside Service at Meadowridge Memorial Park on April 23, 2026, from 12:00 pm.
