On Wednesday, April 5, 2023, Nancy May Grimes (nee Hood), of Jessup, Maryland passed away at the age of 80. Nancy was born on October 22, 1942 in Odenton, Maryland to her parents, the late Preston and Irene Hood. Nancy was the beloved wife of the late Robert Grimes, Sr. and the devoted mother of Robert Grimes, Jr. and David Grimes, Sr. (Cheryl); dear sister of Robert, Preston, Kathy (Vernon) and the late Betty, Mary, and Bonnie; cherished grandmother of Raymond (Alicia) Grimes, Thomas Grimes, Nicole (Jason) Remines, and David (Breanna) Grimes, Jr.; loving great-grandmother of Corrin, Connor, Jackson, Jace, Jacob, and Levi.
Family and friends are invited to gather at Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home at Meadowridge Memorial Park, Inc. 7250 Washington Blvd., Elkridge, Maryland 21075 (Exit 6 South off Route 100) on Monday and Tuesday, April 10th and 11th from 2:00 - 4:00 PM and 6:00 - 8:00 PM where a Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at 10:00 AM. Interment Meadowridge Memorial Park.
