On Sunday September 7, 2014, Paul James Slappo, loving husband of 46 years to Sandra “Sandi” Slappo passed away; devoted father of Deborah Rubbico and husband, Gene, Carrie Slappo and fiancé, Drew Davis. He is also survived by his beloved grandchildren, Matthew Slappo, Megan Davis and Allyssa Davis, his brother in-law, Steven Stack, sister in-law, Carolyn Redlin, loving family and friends. Mr. Slappo worked for the U.S. Department of Justice for over 43 years. He was an avid golfer; enjoyed yard work, crossword puzzles and was a dedicated Pittsburgh Steeler’s fan.
A viewing will be held for family and friends at Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home at Meadowridge Memorial Park, 7250 Washington Blvd., Elkridge, MD on Thursday, September 11, 2014 from 3-5 & 7-9 p.m., where funeral service will be held on Friday, September 12, 2014 at 2:30 p.m. A private burial will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to ones’ favorite charity.
