On Thursday, October 1, 2020, Richard "Dick" Andrew Zier of Elkridge, MD., formerly of Upper Marlboro, MD. Beloved husband of Patricia A. Zier, loving father of Dianne P. Zier and her husband Joseph Montgomery and the late Cheryl Lynn Zier. Brother of Sandra Zier-Teitler, John Zier, Sr. and the late Charlotte "Bunny" Aisquith. He is also survived by his grandson Justin Andrew Williamson and several nieces and nephews.
All services will be held at a later date privately. Dick worked in the printing business for 50+ years, was an avid fan of the Washington Redskins and a lifelong Civil War buff. After retirement, he enjoyed mowing his lawn and making friends with his daughter's cats.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a memorial contribution to either of Dick's favorite organizations: The Gettysburg Foundation and The Humane Society of Charles County. Arrangements were handled by the Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home at Meadowridge Memorial Park, Inc., Elkridge, MD.
