Alice Joy Wilson

Alice Joy Wilson, 70, of Parrish passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2016 in Palmetto, Florida. She was born on July 14, 1945 in Pahokee, Florida to James and Mable Wilson. Alice enjoyed life and loved being involved with Manatee County 4H Club and the Manatee County Fair, Volunteering at the Parrish Fire Department and taking care of her grandkids, great nieces and nephews and spending time with her family.

Alice is survived by her daughter, Wendy (Sean) Dahlquist, her grandchildren, Joshua, Liliana and Keeli Dahlquist, also many nieces, nephews and close friends.

Alice is preceded in death by her parents James and Mable Wilson, her sister, Kathy Browning and her brother Jimmy Wilson.

A Visitation for Alice will be held on Monday, March 7, 2016 from 10:00am – 11:00am at the First Baptist Church of Parrish in Parrish, Florida. A Funeral Service Celebrating Alice’s life will immediately follow visitation at 11:00am in the church. Pastor Lynn Howell will officiate. Interment will follow at Fortner Cemetery in Parrish.
