Dear Cathee, I tried to contact you after Eddie’s passing but I didn’t know that you had been called home  just six days after he had. I’m still in shock. So many memories, many  suppers at grandmom’s in Chester, with chicken soup, fresh ham and pierogies, our summer homes in Gregg Neck , Maryland, living in Springfield P.A. where your bedroom had the most wonderful black and white tile floor and  white French Provincial furniture. You also had so many sweaters. I remember the night you were making Christmas cookies with my mom, Aunt Jennie, and when you walked home afterwards in a frigid, snowy night, a policeman picked you up and drove you home. When my mom only bought me two new dresses to start school, you  good naturedly shamed her into buying me more. Thank you for that. I remember you as very bright and gorgeous . You remembered those who passed with wonderful calls and beautifully written notes to loved ones.  I have so many more memories I could share but there is not enough space here.
