He was born in Jamestown, New York on March 8, 1955. He was the owner and operator of Fatback’s Trucking for over 30 years and was well known and respected by many.
He is survived by his wife, Wendy, children Danielle Bentley, Summer Bentley-Little (Melton) and Justin Bentley (Misty), grandchildren Autumn Rayne, Trenton Daniel and Mackston Ray, sisters Carolyn Bartram of Palmetto, Cynthia Orozco of Ranger, Georgia, and Brenda Baggett of Bradenton, brother Randolph Davis of Macon, Georgia, Aunt Dale Chenicek of Lakeland, many nieces and nephews, and by four grand dogs, Gracey Lou, Melody Sue, CHANCE and Jeannie. He was preceded in death by his mother, Jean Mae Davis, sister Elizabeth Ramsay, and brother David Bentley.
Visitation will be Thursday, December 8th from 6–8:00 pm, and services will be Friday, December 9th at 11:30 am at Groover Funeral Home at Mansion Memorial Park, 1400 36th Avenue, East in Ellenton.
He was an icon, a legend and one of a kind. He will always be loved and missed dearly.
