On Tuesday, September 22, 2015, Daniel Edward Davis passed away at the Bay Pines VA, in St. Petersburg, FL, at the age of 79 years. A loving father and grandfather. He is survived by his 4 children, Gene, Jeanette, Kathy, and Rick; grandchildren Eric, Nick, Connor, Adam, Taylor, Ashley and Olivia; brothers Harvey and Dewitt; sister Edna Elliott; sisters-in-law Jessie, Sarah and Marie; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Daniel was predeceased by parents Dewey and Fannie, brother Doyle, and brother-in-law Robert Elliott. Dan served in the US Army for 3 years. Services for Dan will be held Monday, September 28, 2015, at 10:30 am at Groover Funeral Home, 1400 36th Ave E, Ellenton, FL.
