Dennis Keith Willis

Dennis K. Willis 56, died January 11, 2022 after a long battle with complications from a car accident on April 11, 1986. Dennis was born in Orlando May 5, 1965 but raised in Palmetto, Florida. Dennis was an active member of Palm View First Baptist Church. In his youth Dennis was a model for Tropicana and Bealls Department Store. Dennis also was a 4-H member and Played on the Church Softball team. Dennis was a

construction worker prior to his accident in 1986 and worked proudly on the construction of the then new skyway bridge. Dennis is a graduate of Palmetto High School Class of 1983. Dennis is the son of George Willis Sr and Lillian (Jean) Willis, Dennis is predeceased by his father George Willis. Dennis is survived by his mother Jean Willis of Palmetto, Sister Sandy(Lisa) of North Venice, Brother George Jr (Bubba) of Palmetto, Sister Debbie Willis of Palmetto, sister Cindy Willis of Palmetto Sister Paula Rowell of Palmetto, Brother Kevin Willis of Palmetto Sister Audra Culbreath of Riverview, Brother Mark Ivon of Maryland. Dennis is also survived by several Nieces, Nephews and extended family members.

Funeral Services will be held at Mansion Memorial 1400 36th Ave. E. Ellenton on January 18th. Visitation will be from 10-11am and services from 11-12. Internment will be at Mansion Memorial with his pallbearers being his brother Kevin Willis, his nephews Adam and Aaron Shuman, Nate Gates Jr and Nate Gates III,

J.J. Foster, Dane Willis and Tony Patterson Jr. A gathering of friends and family will be following at Palm View First Baptist Church. The family request in lieu of flowers that a donation be made to North River Pregnancy Center and/or Palm View First Baptist Church in Dennis' memory.
