George Albert Troisi Jr.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved brother, George “Georgie” Troisi, who left us too soon on May 12, 2025, at the age of 67. Georgie was born on September 25, 1957, in Jersy City, New Jersey, to the late loving parents, Angela and Fred Eichberger and George Troisi. He graduated from North Bergen High school in 1975. After high school he went to work in New York City doing construction with his father for a short time before enlisting into the Marines. He was a devoted brother, uncle, and friend whose kindness and laughter brightened every room. He had a smile that captured the hearts of all that came to know and love him.

He had a deep love of sports cars, music and art. Even though George had his own physical limitations, he always managed to lend a helping hand to his neighbors at Cypress Spring where he resided. George loved his little apartment at Cypress Springs and enjoyed the many amenities and activities available to him. His last 9 years in Florida were certainly his happiest. He enjoyed the Friday afternoon happy hours, the monthly birthday parties, beanbag baseball games, Thursday afternoon improv, BBQs, the movie theater, and many other outings with his friends from Cypress Springs. Not to mentioned he loved going to the Chinese buffet and the Texas Roadhouse with his sister Virginia who was his caretaker for the past 25 years.

He is survived by his devoted sister, Virginia (Troisi) Manfredi, and brothers, Peter Troisi (and wife Kimberly), Robert Eichberger, and sister, Brenda (Troisi) Metzler. In addition, he has 3 half-sisters, Michele, Pamela and Lisa, and 2 half-brothers, Jonathan and James Troisi. He also has 7 nephews and 4 nieces and 2 great nephews and 1 great niece.

Memorial services will be held in North Arlington, New Jersey on September 6, 2025. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am at Queen of Peace Catholic Church. Immediately following a memorial service at Holy Cross Cemetery.
