I met Glenn through business at All Children's hospital at least 15 years ago. He was one of the most kind people I ever met and I was honored to become his friend. I pray for God's comfort and peace for his family. I will miss him

Glenn was a great friend and neighbor.  I got the privilege of getting to know him through church softball.  He was upbeat and motivating - always inspiring us to do our best. it was an honor to call Glenn my friend. we shared many funny, officiating and personal times together. i will miss his counsel, easy going manner and friendship more than words can properly convey. We are all so sad, but i know Glenn is alive in the Kingdom i will always keep you close and alive in my heart my dear friend.

 I have had you in my thoughts since I heard the news of your condition.  I am truly saddend by this and there can be no words for what you and your family must have endured these past 8 weeks.  I will never forget this past season and all our Friday nights with the "Big Dawg". 

For those that didnt know Glenn, the only thing bigger than he was, was his heart.  Working with Glenn and getting to know him more this past season was truly an honor.  I know without a doubt he was a great family man.  Glenn and I would often share stories about our daughters and it was fun to do because they are both so close in age.

Glenn and I shared several phone calls and concerns as this year we both were able to work games where were the "White Hat".  I remeber being very thankful that Glenn was in the middle with me to help keep me going in the right direction.  He had a way to keep you calm and focused no matter how crazy situations could be.

To the Williams Family,

Thank you so much for sharing Glenn with us.  I know that if we all took something away from knowing Glenn he will live with us forever.  Your family will be in my heart and prayers.

May the Lord comfort Joan, Isabelle, Marcie, Billy, Polly and the “children”, and Mr. Williams during this difficult time. I had the honor of Glenn being one of my groomsmen when I was married back in 1981. He was a righteous man that always shared Jesus in speech and actions. He and Billy planted the seed of salvation in me that didn't bear fruit until ten years later. He was also very funny… as the comedy tapes that we recorded in his and Billy's first apartment can attest. I look forward to seeing him again in the Lord's presence.

I knew Glenn as a dear friend during the decade of life at Single Purpose.  He played the guitar and I sang with the others. He smiled, cracked jokes and made life fun.  He played softball and I kept score.  He smiled, cracked jokes and made life fun.  He liked to eat out a lot.  He smiled, cracked jokes and made life fun.  He could always tell if there was something upsetting me or another friend. He smiled cracked jokes and made life fun. His big heart and friendship to many was loyal and generous.  He smiled, cracked jokes and made life fun.  Glenn Williams became a husband and a father.  I'm sure he smiled, cracked jokes and made life fun.  To you his dear wife and sweet daughter whom I don't know, my heart and prayers are for you and as you cope with your huge loss.  May the Lord Jesus be present to your broken hearts and someday, somehow by the grace of God, I hope you may smile again.  Glenn is in heaven and he is probably smiling, cracking jokes and making heaven more fun.  I thank the Lord that I knew  Glenn as a faithful friend for one fun decade of my life!

My prayers are with your family. I met Glenn years ago at Single Purpose and he was one of the first to reach out and make me feel welcome. I will always remember our mission trip to Haiti and how he bonded so quickly to the guys at the school for the deaf. He was special , kind and caring to everyone.

Glenn, I have so many wonderful memories of the times years ago at Single Purpose. May your family find comfort in the memories of your love, and knowing that you are walking with the Savior and watching over them.

Some of the happiest memories I have are from the time spent with Glenn. He was a great athlete, a great musician, and a great friend. I am so sorry for your loss.

The world lost an extraordinary human being, and we lost a dear friend and neighbor. Glenn was one of the most upbeat, positive people we've ever met and he had a great sense of humor. He was a loving husband, caring dad, fair referee and overall hard worker. He was always there to lend a helping hand and never complained. 

He included our Sarah on so many family outings with Isabelle. He supported Joan and I when we went through our P90X phase. But especially he was Erick's ref'ing buddy-riding with him every Saturday to ref in all kinds of weather and talking through the days happenings over lunch afterward. 

We will miss our dear friend, Glenn. He made such an impact on the world and those close to him.

Glenn was always a great example for me on how to act as a father, husband, coach, and friend.  I can say this and I was only really a casual friend of Glenn's.  I would see him at the ball fields and maybe the grocery store and every single time it was like we were long lost best friends.  His greeting alone could turn your day completely around.  My family and I have great memories of all the games we shared over the years.  Those memories are what really matter. Thank you to his family for sharing him with the rest of us. Glenn was a "Gentle Giant"  that  I got to know well this past fall. He was a Giant Man in heart as well as his actions. A shining example for kids he had contact with. He will be sorely missed by all those who ever had the pleasure of knowing Him.
