Henry L Blair Sr.

Henry Luell Blair Sr., 60, of Myakka City, Florida, passed away at his home unexpectedly on June 7, 2013. He was a devoted father, grandfather and husband. He leaves behind his wife, Eileen M. Blair; daughter, Kimberley Blair-Polanyi; sons, Henry Blair Jr., Ryan Blair and Shane Blair; grandson, Michael Blair; and granddaughter, Alyssa Simmons; a brother, Lucius Blair, Jr.; and sisters, Florala Crodupt, Thelma Mae Betts and Ida Tyler. Henry was preceded in death by his parents, Essie Mae and Lucius Blair, Sr.; his sister, Carry Champion and brother, David Blair.

Henry grew up in Houston, Texas and worked as a Cardiac Catheterization lab technician for almost 40 years. His smile would light up a room and his laughter will forever echo in our hearts. he touched many lives and was touched by them as well.

He loved living in the country, surrounded by some really great neighbors.

A Memorial service will be held Saturday, June 15, 2013 from 11:00a.m. to noon at the New Shiloh Primitive Baptist Church, 2810 22nd Avenue South, St. Petersburg, Florida, 33712. (727)327-2386.

He will be buried at the Sarasota National Cemetery at a later date.
