Kai Lee Neely

Our beloved son, Kai passed away in his mommy’s womb on Monday, January 6, 2025, at 6:07 PM at Lakewood Ranch Medical Center. Words cannot express the depth of our sorrow, nor the love and excitement we had for his arrival. Though his time on earth was brief, we were blessed to hold him in our arms for five precious days, cherishing every moment we had with him.

Even before birth, Kai was full of life. He was incredibly active, always making his presence known. We knew he had a strong will—every time his mommy lay on her left side, he would kick non-stop until she moved to the right, just as he preferred. He loved hearing his daddy’s voice, listening to stories, and being part of our late-night talks. He always kicked when we stayed up talking or shared a late-night ice cream treat, as if he was part of the conversation.

Though our time with Kai was far too short, we are grateful for every second we had with him. Holding him in our arms, seeing his perfect little features, and showering him with love meant everything to us. We know he is with Jesus, and we hold onto the promise that one day, we will see him again in Heaven.

Kai is the cherished son of Torrey & Elizabeth Neely and the beloved little brother of Davante Jackson, who was so ready to show him the world.

Forever our baby boy, forever our Kai Bear. We will always love you, son.
