Larrie G Rinck (Doc), age 81, from Alexandria, Indiana died peacefully at his home in Florida surrounded by his loving family on June 11, 2022. Larrie was a warrior and we all thought he would never give up the fight, but he got tired and wanted to go home.
Larrie graduated from Indiana University then went on to graduate from Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine (now known as Midwestern University). He practiced in northwest Indiana for many years while raising 3 daughters with his first wife Sandy. They retired to Florida, until he moved back to Indiana to care for his mother and the farm.
In his younger years, he loved playing tennis, trap shooting and fishing, giving all three sports his all.
While in Indiana, he met and married Lana. Meeting at a single’s dance which became a hobby for both, along with playing Texas Holdem. Larrie retired to Florida for the 2nd time with his wife Lana in 2014.
Larrie is survived by his wife Lana, sister-in-law Shelley Payne, daughters Shannon Carmack (Ron) from Indianapolis, Indiana, Maria Rinck (Karl Artis) and Diana Steidler (Bryce) both from Phoenix, Arizona, his stepchildren, Brian Skidmore (Maryellen) from Anderson, Indiana, Tara Bunting (Josh) from Huntersville, North Carolina and Amy Weston (Troy Jolley) from McCordsville, Indiana.
