Lois Marie Herbert, 91, of Palmetto, FL, passed away on May 26, 2021. Lois and her husband, Earl, moved to the area from New York 30 years ago. She was a trainer for the Southeastern Guide Dogs and a volunteer at Manatee Memorial Hospital for over 20 years.
Lois was the beloved wife of Earl and mother of Craig (Amy), who both predeceased her. She was the loving grandmother of Heather Herbert and Victoria Herbert, and great grandmother of Athena and Kathryn.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or to TideWell Hospice, Inc.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 26th from 2-4PM at Groover Funeral Home in Ellenton, FL.
