He moved to Florida after his retirement in 1979 from Michigan. Marvin was a World War II Veteran and was in The Battle of the Bulge. His first wife, Pauline preceded him in 1986.
He is survived by his loving wife and partner of 38 years, Anna Edwards; son, Gary and wife Pam Edwards; two granddaughters and four great-grandchildren; two step grandchildren and two step great granddaughters; numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Marvin will be held Saturday, March 8, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at Groover Funeral Home at Mansion Memorial Park, 1400 36th Ave East, Ellenton, FL 34222.
Military honors will occur Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Groover Funeral Home at Mansion Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cancer Society in Marvins honor.
