After graduating from Illinois State University where he met his wife Carol (Ankele), they both enrolled in the University of Illinois College of Dentistry in Chicago. They moved to Florida after graduation and practiced dentistry for many years including having their own private practice for 17 years in Tampa.
An accomplished artist, Bill greatly enjoyed painting wildlife. He enjoyed fishing and kayaking and spending time at the beach. He also put his artistic talent to work in the kitchen creating wonderful home cooked meals, as beautiful as they were tasty.
Preceded in death by his parents William F and Alexa (Thien) Weith and father-in-law William Ankele. In addition to his beloved wife Carol, Bill is survived by his loving sister Winnie LaChapelle (Bob Sr.), brother Michael Lanners, mother-in-law Helga Ankele, sister-in-law Mary-Jane Lindholm (Greg), many loved nieces and nephews, two great nieces and pets Tyler, Luna and Jack.
