Baldur Henschel Schindler

In Memory of Baldur H. Schindler 1939-2015 Baldur H. Schindler passed away at his home Wednesday, May 20, 2015, in Encinitas, CA at age 75 from an aggressive form of cancer. He was born July 24, 1939, in Salt Lake City, UT to Emil A.J. and Charlotte E. Schindler. He is survived by his wife Nancy Rasband Schindler, his 5 daughters and their husbands (Sheila and Ken Bice, Cynthia and Ian Mearns, Stephanie and Jeffrey Rogers, Rebecca and Jon La Lanne, Christine and Bruce McMullen and thirteen grandchildren.) He was surrounded by his family’s love and laughter to the end. He Graduated from University of Utah, owned his own Business, and served faithfully in the LDS Church. The love and humor he shared with others is a long-lasting legacy that he has left behind. He loved to talk, fish, laugh, and swap fish stories in his spare time. We thank all who have helped and loved Baldur in return. A funeral service will be held on May 26, 2015. There will be a viewing from 11am to 12:30pm with services beginning at 1pm at the LDS Del Mar Church Building, 12701 Torrey Bluff Drive, San Diego, CA. A memorial service will be held on May 28, 2015 with a memory sharing time from 1pm-2pm and the service beginning at 2. Located at Larkin Mortuary Chapel, 1950 E 10600 S, Sandy, UT.
