Gabrielle "Gaby" Maria Renate Harkiewicz passed peacefully into the arms of her Lord and Savior on November 14, 2025. Born on July 1, 1945, she lived a life marked by faith, resilience, and a remarkable ability to love others deeply and sincerely.
Gabrielle was known for her vibrant spirit, encouraging heart, and the way she made everyone feel welcomed and valued. Despite facing significant health challenges, she remained joyful, humorous, and steadfast in her faith. To many who knew her, she was truly an “angel on two legs.”
She shared 59 years of devoted marriage with her beloved husband, Vince. Together they built a Christ-centered home and a love that inspired everyone around them. Gabrielle was a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She leaves behind a legacy of strong, faith-filled daughters, granddaughter and grandson, and a great granddaughter, who will carry her example forward.
Gabrielle delighted in life’s simple gifts: sunshine and sunsets, storytelling, traveling, reading, animals, children, and especially chocolate. She embraced her German heritage, loved her lipstick and earrings, and found great joy in supporting Jewish Voice Ministries. Psalm 91 remained her favorite scripture throughout her life.
Above all, Gabrielle loved Jesus. She spoke often and joyfully about the day she would meet Him face to face. Her family now takes comfort in knowing she is healed, whole, and walking hand in hand with her Savior.
Gabrielle is survived by her husband, Vince; her daughters Monica and Melissa, grandchildren Emily and Angel, great-grandchild Willow; and many dear friends whom she considered family. She will be forever loved and remembered.
