Jane Elizabeth Quirk, 67, of San Marcos, CA, passed away on October 9th, 2023, surrounded by her family. Jane was born on March 28th, 1956, in Lakota, ND and moved to Lynwood, CA in 1962 where she graduated from Lynwood High School. In 1984, Jane moved to Encinitas, CA to raise a family that grew to three boys of her own. Jane had unbelievable strength and beat acute myeloid leukemia on January 8th, 2001 at the City of Hope.
Jane is preceded in death by her parents, Pat and Marjorie Fahey. She is survived by her husband, Brian, her sons Kyle, Sean, and Erik, her sister, Mary Pat Montigny, and her brothers David Fahey and Greg Fahey.
Jane loved a party filled with family, friends, music, and dancing. Thus, a celebration of life will be held in her honor. A ceremony will be held at the Lakehouse Resort Pavilion, located at 1105 La Bonita Drive in San Marcos, CA at noon on Sunday, November 5th, 2023, with reception immediately following. A private inurnment will take place on Monday, November 6th at Miramar National Cemetery in San Diego, CA.
Family truly meant everything to Jane. She will be dearly missed, forever loved, and always remembered. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a charitable donation in memory of Jane to the City of Hope.
