Rosemary Bumann, age 94, passes away Nov. 6, 2014 in Olivenhain. Her loving presence will be missed by her family and all that knew her. Memorial services will be held Nov. 22 at 11:00 o’clock at the Ranch View Baptist church in Olivenhain. Rosemary was born October 11, 1920 to Bert and Sarah Howard in Escondido California, where she remained during her childhood. She married George Bumann in 1938 and in the years to follow was blessed with three children, Ronald, Richard and Carol. Rosemary was a homemaker, amateur artist and world traveler. She is best remembered for her kindness and generosity to other people. She resided in Olivenhain for over fifty years. Rosemary passed away peacefully at the Bumann ranch with family near her bed side. Rosemary is preceded by her husband George, daughter Carol, brother Ed and sister Leona. Rosemary is survived by her two sons Ronald and Richard, Sister Dorothy, four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. Instead of flowers, donations can be accepted for Vitas hospice care, Ranch View Baptist church or Olivenhain preservation society.
