Ina L. Lennon

Ina was the first female criminal defense investigator for Will County Public Defender’s office in Joliet Ill, after acquiring her paralegal degree at Lewis Law University.

She is Survived by:

One daughter Cheryl A Dunn (Doug dec’d)

Two sons Stephen M and Melissa Lennon {Venice Fl}

Thomas G and Vicki Lennon {St Charles Il and Venice Fl}

One Granddaughter Breanna {Lennon} Rollick Daniel {IL}

One Grandson Thomas G Lennon Jr { IL}

One great Grand Daughter Baylee Cameron Rohlicek {IL}

One sister Patty Motta and Fred Kline {IL}

One brother Charles Douglas Sherrell {TN}

Several Nieces and Nephews in Arkansas, California, Illinois

She was preceded in death by both Parents, Fred Vincent and “ONIE” Mary Leona Sherrell, and two brothers William David Sherrell and Walter Sherrell.

Ina was a Great Mother and even better friend. She was the kind of woman that if she had something to say, she said it! She was an awesome great Grandma too {Grandme Inee} sewing the Halloween costumes for her grandchildren every year. She was always up for something fun! Zip lining in the Ashville NC area and hot air ballooning after 80 years old. Loved watching the clouds and finding pictures in them, and picnics in the park. The birds and bunnies and squirrels in nature on Sundays at Steve’s with the family.

She passed peacefully at Tidewell Hospice of Venice

No services at this time are planned.

We will have a celebration of life later in the year when HER “circle” of friends are be back. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to Tidewell Hospice of Venice.
