Robert was born on July 9, 1965, in Detroit, MI., to Marvin and Patricia Kammer. After living in Detroit, ‘Bob’, as everyone called him, made Englewood, Florida his home. He will be remembered for his intense passion for music, quirky sense of humor, contagious laugh and his fondness for writing stories and poetry.
If you knew Bob, you knew he loved to jam on his favorite Fender Eric Clapton Stratocaster guitar named Blackie, you got to hear his soulful voice and listen to him play harmonica with creative expression. He enjoyed playing with local bands in and around the Venice and Englewood areas. He always had a story to share, a cold beer to sip on and a love for chatting about music, history and good ol’ days. Bob was one of a kind, with a big heart, who loved his family and friends. He was a son, brother, uncle and great uncle. He will be dearly missed. Bob joins his loving mother Patricia and sister Cindy in Heaven.
He is survived by his father, Marvin Kammer; brother, James Kammer (Julie Kammer); three nieces, one nephew and five great nieces.
