Bob Eugene Sharp

SHARP, Bob Eugene 89 of New Carlisle formerly of Springfield, passed away peacefully Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at home with his family at his side. Bob was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 63 years Betty Sharp in 2009, a daughter Melanie Sharp, brother Ron Sharp, 2 great-granddaughters Amber Allender and MacKenzee Hynes, his parents Sheldon E. and Mabel E. (nee Armer) Sharp. Bob leaves to cherish his memory two daughters and sons-in-law Sharon and Michael Allender, Melissa and Gary Bowman, seven grandchildren Brian, Paul, Michael II and Joshua Allender, Melanie Hynes, Brandi (John) Koehler, Hannahlee Allender, many great and great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers and sisters-in-law Jack and Cindy Sharp, David and Cheryl Sharp, one sister and brother-in-law Janice and Ron Alexander, numerous nieces and nephews. He retired as a Supervisor from Robbins – Myers after 30+ years of service and was a US Naval Veteran serving in WW II. There will be a Gathering of Family and Friends at ROSE HILL BURIAL PARK, 4781 South Charleston Pike, Springfield, Friday, October 23, 2015 starting at 12:00 noon followed by a Celebration of Bob’s Life at 1:00 pm with Pastor Aaron Marvel presiding.
