Edith Lillian Boyer

BOYER, Edith Lillian, 77 of Dayton, passed away peacefully Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at the Maria Joseph Living Care Center. Edith is survived by her son and daughter-in-law David and Deb Hipsher of Columbus, OH, seven sisters and four brothers-in-law Bernice and Larry King , Joyce Chance all of Mason, Patsy and Gene Hamner of Lancaster, KY, Linda and Gary Rouse of FL, Anita and Cletus Todd, Rebecca Land all of KY, Nina Kane of CO; four brothers and three sisters-in-law Tony and Brenda Helton of Cincinnati, Vernon and Sonja Helton, Daniel Helton all of KY, Kenneth and Ellen Helton of FL. She was preceded in death by her parents Ezra Vernon and Mable Marie (Benge) Helton; her 1st husband Carlton Ceyler and her 2nd husband Don Boyer; two sisters Connie and Irene Helton, one brother Clabern Helton. Edith was a longtime resident of the Holden House in Dayton. She enjoyed the last six years living at the Maria Joseph Living Care Center. There will be a memorial service celebrating Edith’s life in Brodhead, KY later in September. Her family would like to give a heart felt Thank You to the staff and caregivers at Maria Joseph for the care they gave Edith, especially Susie O’brien.
