Mike Berger

BERGER, Michael Alan “Mike” 61, of Troy passed away peacefully Thursday, October 2, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents Francis Louis II and Phyllis Irene (Hauter) Berger and one brother Francis “Frank” Berger in 2012. Mike is survived by two brother’s and one sister-in-law Don and Diann Berger of VA, Richard Berger of IN; his half-brother Johnny Gribble of Akron and half-sister Theresa Gribble of Dayton. Also surviving are his sister-in-law Marybeth Berger of Troy, two nephews Greg (Michelle) Pack, Andrew Berger, two nieces Leah (Damon) Berger-Breeden, Iisha Hulett, great-nieces and nephews Payton, Preston and Paige Pack, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous friends in Ohio and Virginia. Mike had worked as a carpenter for many years. Mike was a warm, funny, caring and generous man. He enjoyed his family, friends, fishing and working with his hands. He was dearly loved and will be missed. There will be a Gathering of Family and Friends at the WOODLAND MAUSOLEUM CHAPEL, 118 Woodland Avenue, Dayton, Ohio 45409 on Saturday, October 11, 2014 starting at 3 pm followed by a Celebration of Michael’s life at 3:30 pm, interment will follow in the mausoleum.
