Henna Essence Lopez

Henna Essence Lopez, age 23, recently of Alpine, passed away on Wednesday, October 11, 2021. Henna was born September 30, 1998 in Escondido, California, and was a member of the Tohono O’odham Nation and is a descendant of the La Jolla and Rincon Luiseno tribes.

Henna was greatly loved by her family, who are deeply saddened by her passing.

Henna is survived by her paternal grandparents, Ted & Roxanne Nelson, mother, Channon Rodriguez, father, Edward Lopez and stepmother, Abby Lopez; sisters, Sencie Pinto, Thelma Rodriguez, Eliana Lopez, Roxanne Lopez, Blessing Rodriguez; and brothers, Levi Lopez, Henry Rodriguez and Joshua Lopez.

Henna will be remembered as a kind hearted, beautiful soul with an infectious smile. Henna will be greatly missed as she was loved dearly by many.

Services:

A rosary will be held on Friday, October 22, 2021, from 5pm-7pm and will include an all night viewing at the La Jolla Reservation Tribal Gym located at: 22000 Highway 76, Pauma Valley, Ca 92061. Services continue Saturday, October 23, 2021, at 10am at the La Jolla Reservation Gym.

A to go lunch will be served following services at the La Jolla Tribal Hall.
