At 30 years old, Jennifer Noelle Paige passed peacefully, according to God’s divine plan on the morning of December 26, 2018 after losing her battle to Reno-Medullary Cancer. Jennifer was born on January 1, 1988 in Baltimore, Maryland, to father Sterling Joe Louis Paige, Sr. and mother Christy Paige Johnson. Jennifer was also nurtured by her grandmother, Joyce Cecelia Paige and step-mother, Stephanie Fussell.
Jennifer knew the Lord at an early age and was baptized at First Corinthian’s Baptist church on January 25, 1995. She was educated in Baltimore County Public Schools and after graduation, Jennifer held a host of job positions and was always gainfully employed; for Jennifer, being broke was never an option.
In 2017, Jennifer found her niche and started working for LPL Financial as a Technical Support Representative. She cultivated numerous friendships and was visited faithfully by her co-workers throughout her illness. They showered her with support, love, and prayers. They never came empty handed and she could always count on getting one of her favorite food dishes or candy.
Never having children, Jennifer treasured and cherished her relationship with her niece and nephews. She was truly a great Aunt and they loved her dearly. Jennifer was also a daddy‘s girl and her father affectionately called her “Buddha”. Although “Buddha” lived on the West Coast, they never let that interfere with their late-night phone conversations, updates, and advice.
Jennifer was a determined and adventurous woman and in 2010 she packed her bags and headed for San Diego, California where she remained until her death. Although she resided in California she was still a diehard Baltimore Ravens football fan and her favorite color was purple. Those who knew Jennifer admired her ever-changing hair styles, her witty sense of humor, and valued her friendship. Her presence was always memorable.
Shortly after being diagnosed with cancer, Jennifer moved with her mother. Her sister Jaszmine later joined them to help assist with Jennifer’s care. They were both devoted to her well-being and her comfort. Jennifer remained dedicated to her job and the will to fight her illness. Despite the aggressiveness of the cancer, Jennifer was brave throughout her final months with the help of her family, friends, and countless caregivers by her side. Jennifer believed in the circle of life. She requested to be cremated and to have a tree planted in her memory.
Jennifer leaves to mourn her passing: her father, Sterling (Gina) Joe Louis Paige, Sr., mother, Christy Paige Johnson, sisters: Jaszmine Cecelia Paige, Carla Deneesha Johnson, and Dedria Jane't Florence Johnson, brothers: Sterling (Zakkiya) Joe Louis Paige II, Derrick (Sashonna) Andre Perry, Brian Jordan Perry, Dennis Craig Johnson Jr., D'andre Lamonte Johnson, and Stephen Justice Fussell-Paige, grandmothers: Joyce Cecelia Paige and Florence Etta Meadows, grandfather, Adison Johnson, niece, Talia Amor Vasquez, nephews: Sterling Russell Paige and Jordon Jacob Watson. She is also survived by numerous relatives and life-long friends.
