Robert Russell Coulter was born in Leon Springs, Texas on August 18, 1940 to the late Henrey and Hilda Coulter. He proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1958 to 1965. As a 40 year resident of Escondido he worked for the City of Escondido Water District for over 20 years.
On May 10, 2012 Robert passed away at home peacefully. He is now in Heaven with his late wife of 20 years, Shirley Ann Coulter. He is also proceeded in death by his brother, Roy Davis.
Robert is survived by his sons, Kenneth W, Robert Jr.,James Coulter and Thor O. Emblem; daughters, Lillian D. Kiefer and Vivian L. Spears; brothers, Danny and Henrey Coulter; sisters, Betty Hurst and Francis Griffin, 14 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by a host of family and friends who will all miss hearing him answer the phone by saying "Praise the Lord"!
