Auntie Dolly's sun rose on March 7, 1949 and peacefully set on January 13, 2011. She will be forever remembered by those who knew her and greatly missed by those who loved her. She enjoyed many simple things in life such as spending time with family and friends, going for a ride in the car and she really liked church. Coming from a family of Yurok People, she also loved to watch the ceremonial dances, especially watching her nephews dance and listening to them sing. Though we are sad to let her go we take comfort knowing she has reunited with her mother Ada Florence Jones, her father William B. Frank Sr., and her brothers Robert and Harold Frank as well as other family members. She is survived by her daughter Desiree Dunn; granddaughter Patricia; siblings William "Squeaky", Rickey "Dimpy", Jewel, and Mary "Itsy" Frank as well as numerous nephews, great nephews, nieces, great nieces and cousins. A Wake will be held Friday at Jewel's home in Weitchpec, CA. Burial Services will be held at the family cemetery Saturday January 22, 2011 and a Last Supper potluck will be held afterwards at the Yurok Tribal Office in Weitchpec at Noon. Our family would like to express our appreciation to all the wonderful caring staff at St. Joseph Hospital and all the people who have kept us in their thoughts and prayers. Arrangements are under the care of Pierce Mortuary Chapel, Eureka, CA 707-442-3751, www.piercemortuarychapels.com.
