

Agnes G. Schindler, 84, of Evansville, passed away Friday, July 31, 2015, at The Charlier Hospice Center at Deaconess VNA Plus. She was born March 26, 1931, in Beals, KY, to the late Charles and Antha (Bugg) Sims.
She and her husband owned and operated Edd’s Radiator Shop. She enjoyed ceramics, toll painting, crossword and jigsaw puzzles, and beading jewelry. She was a member of the Homemakers Club and Clabber Club and was a volunteer for the Red Cross.
Agnes was preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Vernie, Charles Jr., and Clarence Sims, Cora Mae Phillips, Vivian DeVaiser, and Wilma Boyd; son-in-law, Keith Becker; and great-grandson, Izrael Kirsch.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years, William Schindler, Sr.; children, William Schindler, Jr., Patricia (Dirk) Buck, Ronald Schindler, and Cynthia Becker; grandchildren, Kimberley “Kimmy KK”, Kevin, Christina “Chrissy”, Amanda “Mandy”, Nick, Christian, and Sean; great-grandchildren, Jailyn “Dolly”, Jerzi “Girlie”, Faith, and Isaiah; sister, Juanita Sims; sister-in-law, Edna Sims; brother-in-law, James Boyd; “adopted daughter”, Linda Grimwood; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, August 4, 2015, at Alexander West Chapel, with burial in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit Monday from 3:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
