Rev. Alfred E. Case

After leaving the U.S. Army as a lieutenant, Alfred attended Frankfort Pilgrim College, where he received his degree in theology in 1951. Alfred was married to Barbara Jean Frye in 1951. He served as pastor of a missionary church in Devine, TX. After 1 year in TX, he continued in his ministry & evangelism until he was called to pastor Forest Hills Wesleyan Church in Evansville, IN in 1956 where he served for 8 years. Alfred continued his ministry in Evansville up until his death.

Alfred was preceded in death by his parents, Gilbert and Fern Case; sisters, Wanda Case and Wilma McKnight; and brother, Rev. Russell Case.

Alfred is survived by his wife of 62 years, Barbara; children, Lana (Gary) Weber, Kem (Karen) Case, Joy (Keith) Bell; grandchildren, Christy (Mark) Merrill, Whitney and Ryan Case, Austin and Taylor Bell, Stacey (Charlie) Coughlin, Angie Meurer; 10 great-grandchildren; very special family friends, Tami, Meagan & Lexi; brothers, Floyd, Ferriel, Virgil, James; sisters, Carolyn Sue, Charolett and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be 11:00AM Thursday, November 14, 2013, at Alexander North Chapel officiated by Rev. Michael Stoelting with burial in Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may visit Wednesday, November 13, 2013, from 3:00PM until 8:00PM and Thursday from 9:30AM until service time at the funeral home.
