She graduated from Reitz High School in 1942 and retired from Mead Johnson in 1984 after 34 years. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Eastern Star 555 and VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She was an avid card player, loved watching Colts football, Cardinals baseball and golf. She also loved watching her grandchildren play sports.
Ginny was preceded in death by her husband, Marcus T. Thompson, in 1976.
She is survived by her son, Mark A. (Kathy) Thompson; grandson, Ryan Thompson; and granddaughter, Lauryn Thompson.
Services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, June 24, 2014, at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Rev. Janice Akers-Du Bois, with burial in Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may visit Monday from 2:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home, with an Eastern Star Walk Through.
