Alma Faye Jones Olson

She attended Our Saviour Lutheran Church and First Church of the Nazarene. She worked at General Electric in Owensboro for 25 years.

Alma was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Donald Olson; son, David Olson; sister, Mildred Silvia; and brothers, Billy, RC, Charles, Jr., and Bobby Jones.

She is survived by her daughters, Janet “Jan” Svok of Newburgh, IN and Judy Olson of Evansville, IN; son, Donald R. (Sherry Kern) Olson; grandchildren, Michael (Allison Odette) Svok and Paige and Clay Olson; great-grandchildren, Keaton and Skyelar; and brother, Alfred Jones of Owensboro, KY.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, April 15, 2016, at Alexander East Chapel, officiated by Pastor Bill L. Reed, with burial in Park Lawn Cemetery. Friends may visit Thursday from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Friday from 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
