

She was a member of VFW #1114 Ladies Auxiliary and worked at Holiday Laundry for more than 25 years. She married Bill Robb on August 5, 1944, and they had four children together. Their marriage was a war time romance; they met at the water cooler at Bucyrus-Erie. Bill worked in the Forge Shop and Anna worked in Shipping and Receiving.
Anna was preceded in death by her husband, Bill, in 1992; father, Herbert Woodson Jones; mother, who died in childbirth, Mary Belle (Cates) Jones; mom, who raised her, Sarah Eliza (Brooks) Jones; son-in-law, Darrell G. Hodge, Sr.; daughter-in-law, Kate Robb; brothers, James William Jones and Turner Franklin Jones; sisters, Ovila Pearl Jones and Maybelline Jones; and sisters-in-law, Virginia Dillon, June Dillon, Laura Nell Jones and Dora Jones.
She is survived by her daughter and primary caregiver, Donna Hodge (Kenneth Stratman) of Evansville; sons, Bill Robb II of Evansville, Edward L. Robb of Spring Hill, FL and Joseph E. Robb of Port Richey, FL; grandchildren, Tammy Hays (George “Rico”), who was a part-time caregiver, Darrell Hodge (Darla), who was a part-time caregiver, Bill Robb III, Thomas M. Robb, Robert E. Robb, Steven W. Robb (Cynthia “Cindy”), Joseph E. Robb II and Faith Robb (Keith Johnson); great-grandchildren, Damien Christopher Smitha, Tyler Rae Smitha, Brynn Mikkel Schaefer, Sydney Lee Schaefer, D’Avion Hays, D’Reco Hays, Chyneshea Hays, Olivia Hays, Logan Nathaniel Hodge, Michelle Bennett, Brenda Bennett, Rachel Bennett, Melissa Leann Robb, Michael Shawn Robb, Nickolas Robb, Tyler Robb, Emily M. Robb, Daniel Joseph Robb, Victoria D. Robb, Nathan A. Robb, Brandon Robb, Nathan Lee Hawkins, Christopher Kyle Hawkins, Jackson Robb, Brittany Robb, Zoey Marie Robb and Joseph Andrew Robb; great-great-grandchildren, Noah Small, Kayden Elliott and David “D.W.” Johnson; brothers-in-law, Thomas Dean Robb (Gerry) of Camdenton, MO and Robert Atwood Dillon of Danielsville, GA; and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be 10:00 AM Monday, October 24, 2011, officiated by Rev. John Hilbert, with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit Sunday from 2:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
