Arthur Miller Jr.

Arthur worked at the Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Department in citations and also did missionary work. He was passionate about missionary work, especially in building churches and homes in Brazil. Art worked in manufacturing at Whirlpool, where he retired after many years. Art and his fiancé, Mary met by chance close to six years ago. They were blessed to form a very special relationship in his final years.

He was preceded in death by his son, Gary Miller; and daughter, Sandra Daugherty.

Art is survived by his fiancé, Mary A. Shaw; son, Dennis Miller (Tami); daughters, Debra Vanover, Pamela Keach, Barbara Richter; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at Alexander West Chapel, 2100 W. Illinois Street, Evansville, IN officiated by Pastor Luke Smith followed by burial at Alexander Memorial Park. Friends and family may visit from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
